Registration Information

Dear Participants/ Friends,


The registration/ booking per participant is Rs 100/-.(Non refundable) which you will have to send in advance. After the registration from you, we shall confirm the following dates for your retreat/ Program as per the following terms.

Your contribution for the Board and Lodge per person for your programme is Rs 300/- per day. (For NRI’s or Foreign residents the amount is Rs 600/-). Accommodation is on single basis. Bed linen will be supplied by the house so there is no need to carry linen. Participants are requested to bring their own toilet articles and other personal effects. If the Conference Hall is required, a contribution of Rs 200/- per day would be included.

Your cheque/DD should be made in the name of "Xavier Retreat House" payable at Calangute. Any contribution made outside Calangute should include Rs. 60/- as Bank charges. All contributions to be made before your departure from Baga. We make this request as late contributions affect the cash flow of our Charitable Trust. The official receipt and accounts statement will be issued to you immediately on obtaining your contribution.

Enclosed please find a copy of the Retreat house rules, which need to be strictly followed. A copy of the same should be circulated to the participants in advance. Please treat this as important.

Please send us the number and list of participants with their designation at least a week before your arrival. This is necessary to plan room allocation, etc.

Along with this list, we would require you to send us your programme schedule for the entire period. Your schedules would need to be built around our meal timings. I have included our meal timings, which you may find useful while planning your programme.


Timings: (Please be on time for all meals)


  • Breakfast                  08:00 am
  • Mid-morning tea       10.00 am
  • Lunch                       12.30 pm
  • Tea                           04.00 pm
  • Dinner                       08.00 pm


Rooms:
  • Please make sure that lights and water taps are turned off when not in use. Both water and electricity are precious.
  • Smoking, and drinking of alcohol is strictly prohibited in the Retreat House
  • Drinking water is available on the ground floor near the refectory,
  • Kindly do not leave damp towels and clothes on the wooden furniture. Please place them on the clothes-line in your rooms.
  • Please do not take buckets or mugs from other toilets for soaking your clothes. Please remember that after using any of the items, kindly return them to its rightful place.
  • Please record your complaints in the maintenance register provided in the reception counter at the entrance.



Dining Room:
  • It would be nice if all at a table start and also end their meals together.
  • At any meal you will see that empty plates are kept on the main table. Choose any table, and go to a table where you have not been before.
  • After the meal, each one should take their own the plates to the wash-up.

General:

  • To enter the Retreat House use the main entrance/ Reception entrance.
  • It is advisable to keep your room locked and carry the key with you. On the last day, Please leave the key on the door when you leave the place. The room tags with your name can be carried back with you as a souvenir of your stay.
  • Kindly keep your mobiles switched off in the chapel/ prayer hall.
  • Please do not take any items belonging to a room or a building to another room.
  • Help us to keep the area clean. Please throw rubbish into the bins provided.
